- Only 1000 miles! I wish I only had 1000 miles round trip to commute. The auto industry is in dire straits but no worse that the airlines. I'm from CT with a wife and kids who live in Europe and I work in China.
Should pilots be allowed to take in-flight naps?

- As an Airline Captain with over 30 years experience, napping not only improves safety but as I recall, encouraged by the FAA a few years back. I don't know why the press is claiming that it is against FAA regulations!
